12/16/2008 - The Bear Hug

From now through mid-January, O'Henry's Coffee is doing a promotion in support of The Exceptional Foundation in Homewood.  The promotion is called The Bear Hug.

The Bear Hug ($3.95) is an espresso drink with Ghirardelli Chocolate, steamed milk and Monin cinnamon.  The Little Bear Hug ($3.25) is the same  beverage without espresso.  Both are topped with real whipped cream and a Teddy Graham. 

With the purchase of either drink, guests may enter to win one of 15 prizes.  The grand prize is a huge stuffed bear (retail value $250).  In addition, O'Henry's will be donating a percentage of the proceeds to The Exceptional Foundation at the end of the promotion.  The bear is on display at O'Henry's in Homewood.

The Exceptional Foundation, located in Homewood, was founded in 1993.  Their mission:  To meet the social and recreational needs of mentally and/or physically challenged individuals in the greater Birmingham area.

The promotion is being offered at two locations: O'Henry's in Homewood and O'Henry's in the Regions/Harbert building downtown.

Other prizes include gift cards, bags of fresh roasted coffee, coffee mugs and more.
