    New Menu, New Storefront
    O'Henry's Coffees - Regions/Harbert Building

O'Henry's Coffees in the Regions/Harbert building downtown has introduced a new lunch menu as well as received a facelift.  This is O'Henry's second location in Birmingham and this year mark's its 10th Anniversary.

The Regions/Harbert menu features grilled sandwiches, fresh salads, soups, and specialty sandwiches made to order.  It also has a selection of Flatbread Melts.  "The Wasabi Roast Beef Flatbread is one of my favorite items." says Randy Adamy, owner of O'Henry's Coffees.  That item has sliced roast beef, red and green peppers, mushrooms, a mild wasabi sauce, and pepper jack cheese all finished in the oven.  Adamy notes, "It gets your attention with the intense flavors." The Thai Chicken Salad and Smokehouse Grill sandwich are two top sellers.  Both are staples on the Regions/Harbert menu.  Miss Mary's Chicken Salad came from Mary Adamy, co-owner with her husband.  It features grapes and chopped pecans and is made in-house daily.

In addition to the new menu, the storefront has been updated.  The front is a replication of the original Homewood O'Henry's storefront.  It features dark green and rich gold paints with tile blocks interspersed to create a timeless Old English shop front feel.

The store hours for the Regions/Harbert O'Henry's are Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Catering and large orders are welcome.  For more information on catering please call 205-323-1198.  You can also visit un on-line at www.ohenryscoffee.com.

The first batch of Pumpkin Spice cupcakes has arrived at O'Henry's in Homewood and O'Henry's in the Regions/Harbert building. A fall tradition, these cupcakes are made from scratch at our stores. Subtle hints of cinnamon and nutmeg can be tasted in every bite and each cupcake is topped with cream cheese frosting.

They are here for a limited time only, so come on in and try one!

Our other fall favorite, homemade pumpkin bread, will be coming soon.

  •           O'Henry's Coffees in the Regions/Harbert building downtown has introduced a new lunch menu.

Guests can choose from several new items. The Parmesan Crusted Roast Beef sandwich features our own homemade parmesan flatbread and is loaded with roast beef, smoked cheddar cheese and horseradish mayo. Or try the Pimento Cheese sandwich, our homemade recipe from 1993, served on rustic nine grain bread. The Three Cheese Panini with Swiss, smoked cheddar and provolone cheeses and the San Sano, a cold sandwich with prosciutto ham and Genoa salami are also part of our new menu.

Guests who are fond of the ever popular Smokehouse Grill need not worry. This sandwich with smoked ham and turkey, bacon, melting provolone and BBQ mayo is still on the menu and continues to be our number one selling sandwich.

Other featured menu items are the Thai Chicken Salad with marinated chicken, romaine lettuce tossed with toasted almonds and ramen, red and green peppers and water chestnuts with ginger-sesame dressing and our homemade Spinach, Mushroom & Artichoke Quiche. O'Henry's Baked Potato Soup is available year round and is our most popular soup.

Lunch is served only at the O'Henry's in the Regions/Harbert center. Store hours are Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Lunch is served until 2 p.m. Catering and large orders are welcome. For more information on catering please call 323-1198. Subject: O'Henry's Coffees opens at Samford University

The newest O'Henry's Coffees in Birmingham has just opened on the campus of Samford University.  It is located on the ground floor of the Student Activities Center next to the food court.

The university approached O'Henry's owners, Randy & Mary Adamy, in early 2006 about the idea.  Students very much wanted a coffeehouse on campus and having a local name was important to the university.

The new O'Henry's offers most of the signature items O'Henry's is known for including specialty brewed coffees, espresso drinks, frozen drinks, fresh baked morning pastries and delicious desserts.

This location is operated by Campus Dining.  Campus Dining does all food services on the Samford Campus.  Like all O'Henry's locations, the coffee is roasted in west Homewood at Red Mountain Coffee Roasters.

O'Henry's Samford is open Monday through Saturday.  There is a large seating area for dining, studying and socializing.
